Position: Senior Electrical Engineer

📌 JOB PURPOSE
To oversee and manage all electrical works across multiple development projects including residential townhouses, villas, and commercial buildings.
The role ensures coordination between contractors and consultants, compliance with authority regulations, and adherence to project quality, cost, and timeline requirements — all while representing the client’s best interests.


📌 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

🔹 Serve as the primary point of contact for all electrical engineering activities on-site, representing the client.
🔹 Coordinate closely with consultants and contractors to ensure seamless integration and delivery of electrical systems.
🔹 Review and provide comments on electrical design drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
🔹 Ensure electrical works are executed as per approved specifications, authority guidelines (DEWA, DCD, etc.), and project timelines.
🔹 Oversee site execution of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, low voltage, and ELV systems.
🔹 Facilitate and attend technical coordination meetings, inspections, and authority interface meetings as needed.
🔹 Monitor and report on the progress, quality, and safety of electrical installations.
🔹 Manage testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems in collaboration with the contractor and consultant teams.
🔹 Identify technical risks and propose solutions to avoid delays, cost impact, or quality issues.
🔹 Prepare regular technical reports, progress updates, and highlight any design or execution challenges to the Senior Manager – MEP.
🔹 Ensure full compliance with DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, and other relevant local authorities for all electrical installations.
🔹 Support procurement reviews and provide technical input during tender evaluations when required.


📌 Educational Qualification
🔹 Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.


📌 Years of Experience
🔹 Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in the UAE on residential or villa projects.


📌 Nature of Experience
🔹 Strong experience in electrical project management, with a proven track record in successful project delivery.
🔹 Proven experience working in a client-representative or PMC role.
🔹 Strong knowledge of DEWA and Dubai Municipality standards.
